ABOUT US

My name is Bo and My wife is Raiy. We have one son Timmy. To begin..original we came from Cambodia since we were in our teen ages after surviving the communist regime of Khmer Rouge. Some call it “we’re the left over from ghost” because we’re the remaining three out of the seven million of the population that died. Outdoors, natures and learning how to survive is pretty much in our blood giving it where we came from. We stepped on to the US soil almost high school age with a set of clothes. After a couple years in high school ” my wife and I met” we started to tag along with friends and cousins going camping, hiking, fishing and the outdoors stuffs. We start to like it so much we didn’t care if it was 120 degrees lake Havasu or 20 degrees at Mammoth lakes. Occasionally we hit monsoon with rain, wind, hail and lightnings. We sometime had to sleep in a tent with just a towel and heat up some rocks to put inside the tent to keep us warm or poor the water on the ground and sleep on a mat if it’s too hot. Oh yes, we love it compare to how life was back home this is awesome life. The family keeps growing bigger and bigger now we have brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, friend’s friend and so on joining us. The ideas of more comfortable camping keep coming up and we start to buy more gears and equipment and then a boat! to accommodate everyone. As years went by every camping trip is an awesome trip beside taking a shower when it’s cold. With the wind blowing and trying to boil warm water for shower is a challenge. I had an idea..I asked my wife if we can by a minivan and let me convert it in to a camper and it MUST have an instant hot water. I feel so bad to see her taking a shower in the cold and shivering. First she said NO! don’t get crazy idea about any campervan. But the thing is she has no idea what a campervan is. She must have had a good dream that one night. The next day she called me at work. “Let’s go buy a van”. We bought brand new Sprinter van! That’s how it begins.. I started to build out my first Sprinter van with shower inside and an instant hot water heater. Our families and friend saw it and felt in love. As of today 2/23/2020 our group has a total of 8 converted vans and a couple is under construction. We want to expand these ideas and share them with our outdoors community and campervan families out there by sharing photos, videos and stories. We also list all parts and gears with Amazon afiliate link that we used in the van build(DIY Parts on Menu).
